About Me
Hi! I’m Nahashon Kyalo. Welcome to my Travel blog.
Here’s a little bit about myself!
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of traveling the world and indulging in different cultures. But for a long time, I wouldn’t enact this dream due to financial constraints; “or so I thought.”
To be honest, traveling full-time is not a “real thing” where I come from. Most people think it’s a cool idea, but no one actually gets to do it. So even though my goal was to be a full-time nomad someday, I wasn’t in an environment that was fuelling my passion.
And with time, I convinced myself life on the road is a practice best left for those who have attained financial freedom. Of course, I was wrong.
So years went by, I joined high school, tried out sports (swimming), then majored in finance in college.

But I could feel I was living a lie. I had tried my best to rid myself of the desire to travel the world at a young age, but I guess that only made things worse.
I could feel my heart ache every time I saw an image or video of someone talking about their expeditions.
“That’s the life you were born to live, Man,” I could hear my inner voice calling out to me.
Then one day, I crossed paths with one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. You can either call it luck or fate, but this was the day everything changed for me.
Like most foreigners, she was in Kenya to enjoy the country’s diverse landscapes, friendly people, and mesmeric wildlife.
Kenya was her 100th nation to visit. And after several days of conversing, she could tell I was interested in hearing every single detail regarding her escapades around the world.
For the first time in my life, I had come across someone (in person) who was living the dream, and I wasn’t going to let them go until they told me how they made it happen.
When she asked me why I wasn’t giving traveling a try, I gave my classic excuse, “My current financial situation does not allow. But once things fall into place, I promise I’ll join you.”
Her response, “That’s BS.” “If you wanted it bad enough, you would find a way.”
Haha, I have to say, I didn’t see that coming. But she was right, I’ve been doing nothing but making excuses all my life: And it was time to step out of my comfort zone.
So I asked for a blueprint of how she started out, and she was kind enough to share. Since that day, I’ve never looked back, and I’ve made it my mission to visit every country by the time I’m 30.

I recently started this blog as a means of tracking my progress and providing you with lots of information and inspiration as you step out of your comfort zone to chase your own adventures.
And even though the blog is yet to reach its full potential and achieve every goal I have in mind, I am making gradual improvements.
Better yet, with each other’s help, I believe we can achieve our wildest dreams.
How can we help each other? Well, it’s simple. I provide you with excellent content, and you leave a comment pointing out areas I can improve in, and whether the content struck home.
Thank you, and safe travels.
